Who we are

Bristol’s best-value painters and decorators

We like to keep our prices low and our standards high. To ensure a good, quality job that will last, it’s the detail in preparing walls and ceilings that matters. It’s one of the reasons we’re so often recommended to others – our work looks good and lasts!

Some reasons why we have so many happy customers

We’ll arrive on time

We’ll turn up when we say we will. If for any reason we are held up, we will contact you to explain.

Need help in choosing materials?

We’re always happy to give you the benefit of our many years of experience to ensure you have the best outcome.

Heavy furniture to be moved?

If your furniture needs moving before we can start, don’t worry – we’ll happily do that – and of course put it back afterwards.

Carpets need lifting?

We’ll be happy to sort that out for you.

Dust sheets to protect furniture and carpets?

We’ve got that covered. As a matter of course we’ll bring them along.

Cleaning and tidying

We’ll clean and tidy up at the end of each day and of course when the job is completed.

Minor jobs

What does ‘no job too small’ really mean?

Many websites have the line ‘no job too small’, and we do the same. We always try to keep our prices low but even for the smallest job there obviously has to be a minimum charge. This will cover both travelling time and the first hour of work.

What clients say about us

You did an excellent job

Thank you, Richard and Mark. It was lovely having friendly, reliable people in my house. Were so helpful when I changed my mind on the colours. Really love it.

Trivia!

Ever wondered why painters usually wear white overalls?

It’s a tradition that dates back over 400 years, to the days when painters would have to make their own paint. The oxides and powders used were often white and, as the paint was often mixed on site, it made sense for painters to wear light-coloured clothing. Indeed, for many years white was the colour of paint used for both indoors and outdoors.
